Starkeepers Testing


The team at Wolfpack reached out to The Syndicate to help them test their MMO Starkeepers. With several tests throughout early 2023, teams of Syndicate testers put the game through its paces and provided feedback to the team. Unfortunatley the game didn't really survive. In fact, by the end of 2023, the website https://www.starkeepers.com/ was redirecting to Wolfpack's next project https://www.playhavenhold.com/ and just a signup page with no details. That outcome shows the value in working with The Syndicate. Since we are a microcosm of the larger MMO community, if a game does not resonate with us, it is unlikely to have mass market appeal. If we recommend things change or get added or get removed, those recommendations should be taken seriously. Over our nearly 28 years, games that took feedback and acted on it tends to do well. Those that did not, tended to not last long. We wish Wolfpac great success on their next venture. it does look like the same engine, when viewing the Steam page and that doesn't give me a good feeling about its long term success in that format.
